The museum prefers groups up to 20 or 25, so if your group is larger you can split into groups and still take the tour. During this tour your group will come in and start off by watching a short, 17 minute, video that tells you about the history of the nutcrackers, then you will be able to participate in a demonstration that is very hands-on with the unique nutcrackers. Once they are done with the demonstration, the group will be able to tour the museum and see all of the nutcrackers.

In the museum you will be able to see over 7,000 nutcrackers from over 50 countries. The oldest nutcracker in the museum dates back to Roman times. On the tour you can see the evolution of the material and structure of the nutcrackers. The nutcrackers are made out of different materials. Some are made from wood, porcelain, ivory, or metal.
